Weekend update.

Well, this Saturday, the JV team had a great day!! We beat Lakewood Ranch, Charlotte, and Braden River on our way to the championship game against Riverview. The Braden River game turned out to be really exciting. Both teams played really well - Braden River must be really working hard up there! We took home the 'gold' and were able to take cheesy pics holding up a #1!! Monday we beat SCS's varsity team. It was a good win for us since we are much younger than they are. They really got after it on defense and swung hard. Good job on being 12-0 girls!

Schedule for Saturday

I recieved our schedule for the tournament at SHS this Saturday. Parents will need to drop their daughters at 7am at SHS. I'm working on uploading the schedule - should be up soon!

We won decisively tonight against NPHS. It was great... Eeryine
contributed and we go a chance to run a different offense. Great job!

Riverview

We had a great first week overall! JV is now 3-0. We've had some close games, but I try to keep emphasizing that I want us to learn how to play volleyball the 'right' way. I'd rather lose a close game trying to play Venice Volleyball than mess around but get the win. We need to continue to build game after game, day after day, week after week. I've had a great week with this group of girls! See you Tuesday!

Win number 2!

Tonight we made the trip up to Braden River. The girls were ready to
play in their long sleeved jerseys! We won our match in 2 with a great
performances from Bianca and Hannah. We also had contributions from
all of the freshmen. Great job on being 2-0!
